Mathematical Clairvoyant Predicting Deaths of French Royalty Antique Document
Strange Antique Document
Handwritten notes following the math of a clairvoyant's predictions of Napoleon III's fall from power. Using the numerals from the date of the beheading of French Revolutionist Robespierre
1794 + 1 + 7 + 9 + 4 = 1815 (the fall of Napoleon)
1815 + 1 + 8 + 1 + 5 = 1830 (the fall of Charles X)
1830 + 1 + 8 + 3 + 0 = 1842 (death of Duke of Orleans)
1842 + 1 + 8 + 4 + 2 = 1857 (Therefore, 1857 will equal the fall of Napoleon III)
However, as the author of the note points out, Napoleon three did not fall in 1857, but states that the 'Napoleonic Debacle' took place in 1870, thwarting the mathematical prediction.
An unusual piece of French history, certainly written after 1870 and likely before 1900, critiquing someone else's math.
Measures 4.5 x 7 inches.
In Good Condition, with original fold creases & some age wear.
